The African Relief Organization is an NGO that has been working in Tanzania mainland since 1999 to date; by then the organization was known as African Relief Committee of Kuwait as religious institution and registered by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The name of this Organization was official changed to African Relief Organization in the year 2014 and continued to be as religious institution and registered on the same Ministry.
In the year 2019, this organization was transferred from the Ministry of Home Affairs as Religious institution to the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women and special groups as NGO; it had attained the NGO status due to his wide scope on the provision of Social Services in Tanzania.
